Have you ever thought about meeting your blog friends in person? What would it be like? Would you really have anything in common or be able to hold a conversation? Well, today I got the chance to find that out. My day began with Jes coming to my apartment straight from the airport. We had breakfast, chatted & then headed to the city for some shopping. After a very filling lunch with my good friend Mary, we hopped in a cab to Penn Station. There we met Hope. More chatting ensued, as well as more shopping & food. Then we hooked up with four more blog buddies; Giao, Yvonne, Lesley & Kathleen. What a great experience!! We did all get along & have lots to talk about. In some ways we already knew so much about each others lives without truly knowing one another. The gals will be in the city through the weekend & I’ll get to spend more time with them. I think a good time will be had by all. Who knows - maybe I’ll get to meet other blog buddies in the future.

Dawn, it was such a TREAT to meet you and Tom! I had a blast (and I’m certain all the other gals did too, though I won’t speak for them!), so WOOOOO and thanks! It was a fabulous weekend. You’re the sweetest!
I had so much fun with all you gals this weekend! Thank you for choosing to visit NYC. I’d love to make this a yearly trip, though we could visit a different place each time. You all were just great!!!!

You know you can come and visit me in Maine anytime at Berry’s B&B….and also I hear that a craft weekend at my house with Hope this winter may be in order! I have an 8ft. long craft desk in my studio……
